YOUTH INTRODUCTION TO FIREARMS
C2 Tactical Course Curriculum:
Youth Introduction To Firearms
This 2-hour course is designed for youths with no previous shooting experience with parents who do have experience. It will introduce your child to safe handling and basic shooting techniques with a .22 caliber rifle as well as coach the parent on how to make the best of time on the range with their child while keeping them safe and ensuring they have fun. Following the classroom instruction, students will have the opportunity to practice the skills learned in class with their parent through live-fire exercises. Included in the course is the rental firearm, ammunition, target, eye and ear protection and a free t-shirt for the child. Minimum age to participate is 6 years old, and a parent must accompany each child during the class.
Instructors: All instructors for this course are required to have NRA Certification and/ or have prior Military, Law Enforcement or competitive shooting backgrounds

• Basics of marksmanship
• Building up the child
• Maintaining control on the range
Equipment and supplies required:
• Closed-toe shoes
